Hassan Sayed

I am a fifth year PhD candidate in the economics department at Princeton University. I work on political economy, applied economic theory, and economic history. I occasionally study productivity growth in the U.S. macroeconomy.
I am broadly interested in how policy choices act as sources of information that guide agents' decisionmaking; and how economic and political institutions affect policymakers' willingness to implement informative (or uninformative) policies.
