I received my PhD in Economics from Princeton in May 2025.I am broadly interested in the optimal design of funding for innovation; how career concerns shape policy experimentation; and how microeconomic agents make decisions using models and data. My research also touches on topics in productivity growth and economic history. My research with MSA focuses on the theoretical design of public policies that promote innovation in climate and public health. Additionally, I work with nonprofit and government partners to help design and practically inform the implementation of these policies. You can find my CV here.I can be reached at:hsayed (at) cgdev.org
